Please allow me to introduce myself...

As the song says, introducing me as a teacher what I most like about myself is that every day I am surprised: either by wonderful and deep understandings or by when students seem to know so little about the English discipline. This keeps me studying to do my best as a teacher.
When somebody criticize my teaching I accept and try to change if it´s right. If it is not, I will think why some critics were done.
In my experience as a teacher I am the sort one who tries to help the kids on a maximun. With this in mind, I would describe my teaching style as a facilitator, I mean, I provide some "tools" and my students work to construct their knowlodge.
I´m quite sure that most of my colleagues think I am inattentive, sleepy and disorganized because sometimes my classrooms are burning in a mess, but I am very methodical, hard worker and serious.
When I had decided to become a teacher, I wanted to combine fun with my love for languages. Sometimes it´s necessary to conduct a serious class, I know, but my students like my way to do this. They like it when the class is fun and soften. Another thing that I strongly believe they like is that I acknowledge the questions, the answers and even the doubts given by them, and I show them this acknowledgement. I think they feel important for me and for themselves.
If I could, the main change I should like to make in my classroom is the number of students in it. I am always complaining about it because it is one of situations that, I think, become unsuccessful goals in my profession. I envy those teachers who draw attention to the students; those teachers who obtains the students really paying attention to the class. Sometimes I get by well this situation, sometimes I don´t. In such moment I feel unmotivated in this profession because I think that children seem to learn best when they are in small group in classroom. I wish I was better able to speak English all time in classes. And besides, I also should like to change the way I teach some lessons because they aren't "working" as they´d worked in the past.
When I think about my classroom I recognise that it improves learning and impacts the behaviors of the students and of mine. What I would really like to see happening in it is my pupils being able to speak a good English and all types of interactions with my students.
About teaching, I still have to learn how the knowledge construction is done. Knowing it, I think I can achieve my goals. In my classes I try to avoid some mistakes like asuming that students already know my discipline´subject and treat them unfairly. Sometimes they really don´t know, they didn´t had an opportunity to know!
To close this reflection I would like to say I like best in teaching is when my students ask me something. For example, if I teach the pronunciation of an word then the student ask "Oh teacher, but that another word... how can I say it? It really makes me feel happy. I think all teachers like when students have doubts and ask them. Otherwise, what I most dislike about being a teacher is some ask for results. The condiction in classrooms is horrible and we are always been asked for good results in education.
